TVA Sling / TOA SlingFor the treatment of Urinary Stress Incontience in females. -Pre-postioned pulling sutures facilitating patient specific post-operative adjustment -upwards and downwards! -Sling tension adjustment possible within several days post-operatively. A.M.I. TVA (Trans Vaginal Adjustable) / TOA (Trans Obturator Adjustable) Sling Implants are intended to be used for TVT / TOT procedures. There is no longer a need to rely on surgeon experience when it comes to correct, patient specific tension when implanting sling. 8 pre-positioned pulling sutures are incorporated in the A.M.I. TOA / TVA Sling. Each suture end protrudes through the closed skin and vaginal wall. The tension of the implant can be adjusted post-operatively within 5 days, by simply pulling these threads: -upwards while the patient bladder is full and the patient standing. -downwards in supine position. The monofilament adjustment sutures are simply pulled and removed after the patient specific adjustment of the sling tension. -The TVA / TOA Sling is covered by a PE-sleeve to facilitate easy, less-traumatic placement. -Monofilament Polypropylene adjustment sutures, for easy pulling and removal. -Monofilament Polypro-pylene Mesh is soft and firm in length. -Large pores of the Mesh for perfect tissue integra-tion and reduces infection risk.
